Lisa and her fellow recipients will be profiled in the May Business Journal’s Women in Business special publication and honored during a May 25 luncheon.

Lisa Steffes has held a wide variety of leadership roles in the financial industry since joining brightpeak financial as CEO and President in 2015. Before joining the company, she was the SVP and General Manager of Ameriprise Financial Services for nine years, reporting directly to the President/CEO of Ameriprise Bank. Earlier, Lisa was the VP of Business Transformation at American Express, serving with the company for nearly 11 years.

Lisa earned Bachelor of Science degrees in Management Sciences & Quantitative Methods and Business Management from the University of Saint Thomas School of Business. She frequently speaks at industry events giving presentations on topics of women in leadership; science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM); finance; digital technology; digital transformation and millennials.
